In its continual effort of investing in the development of the Infinity brand, the Dubai based Al Dobowi Group recently introduced ECOFOUR, the all-season tyre, to address their customers’ needs in a rapidly growing segment. This new tyre follows the extension of the summer range in UHP and SUV introduced earlier in the year. The initial launch will see an introduction of 24 sizes in ECOFOUR, which was presented at the Tire Cologne exhibition in May. ECOFOUR will further strengthen the Infinity range coverage and brand value, providing an advanced performance solution for all weather conditions. The performance of ECOFOUR will be consistent with the rest of the high quality Infinity Tyres as seen in recent independent European test reviews on its summer tyres. Alongside the launch of ECOFOUR, Al Dobowi also showcased its new range of Infinity truck tyres from the factory in Thailand, once again providing additional opportunities and benefits to its expanding customer base.

The runners-up for the tournament were Darren and Fran Cole, both members of Emirates Golf Club, with fantastic scores of 69 and 68 totalling 137. Darren and Fran just pipped Craig Dunn and Pascal De Garrigues, also members of Emirates Golf Club, who finished in third place, with a total score of 138, which comprised of a solid opening round of 72 on the Faldo and a fantastic second round of 66 net on the Majlis course. The local knowledge proving the difference over both courses.

In the Gross Division, it was the pair of Natalii Gupta and Kellie Gachaga who came out victorious, carding rounds of 73 and 75 over the Faldo and Majlis courses respectively, totalling 148 for the tournament. The runners-up in the division were Shane Wilson and Sanjay Dhandsa, three shots adrift, recording scores of 76 and 75, equaling 151 total strokes.

For the Net Day prizes, the winners on Day 1 on the Faldo course were Michael Kaye and Victoria Johnson with an incredible score of 64 net. Day 2 winners on the Majlis were the pair of Jenny Ayres and Ian Scott, with a brilliant score of 66 net.

For the on-course special events on Day 1, Kellie Gachaga won Nearest the Pin on hole two, whilst Adil Khan claimed Nearest the Pin on hole 12. It was Mimi Hosking who won the Longest Drive on hole 16, a successful return to the club from Mimi! Day 2 saw Sanjay Dhandsa claim Nearest the Pin on hole four and Christiane Sprunck winning the same prize on hole 15. Hyeonji Kang took the Longest Drive title on hole 12 on the Majlis, with a big hit down the fairway!
